I like there food we get from them sometimes and on Friday I believe it's $1 for a Baleada. We are Honduran and the food is good but sometimes we just get a baleada that is just ok but other then that it's not bad.
Honduran food is not that easy to find in DFW, but we found a good one among all the Korean restaurants on Royal Lane. You know it's legit when the menu is Spanish-only with some Honduran dishes that my Mexican wife has never heard of. They start you with chips that come with a nice bean dip, and there are salsas in squeeze bottles at the table. The red salsa has a nice kick but the you need to put the orange-ish salsa (which is a Mayo/ketchup mix I think?) on everything! The pupusa is a must-order at $1.99 per. It comes with some pickled cabbage and a tomato sauce and it is so good - and you can't beat the price! The pork chop is cooked perfectly and is well seasoned. It comes with a heaping side of tajadas - which is basically like a fried plantain - topped with cabbage, salsa and cotija cheese. The chicharron is super crispy and reminds me of Filipino lechon kawali - probably the best thing we had, and everything we ordered was excellent! The yuca is nicely prepared as well. Leylita is the definition of a hidden gem. We will definitely be back, not only to order the same dishes again because they were so good but also to try their soups and a bunch of stuff from the breakfast menu!
